Last night was something else.
Your baby never wanted to sleep, you partied a little harder than usual, or you got stuck in front of your favorite TV show… No matter what is was, when you looked at yourself in the mirror, you pinched yourself.
That person you saw there wasn’t you. Those huge bags and puffy eyes make her look tired, sick, unhealthy… Really not the look you need for a first day at your new job, or that date you’ve been postponing since baby was born, or anything else for that matter!
So How Can You Deal With Eye Bags And Puffiness?
What you need right now is an instant solution that would be easy & painless.
Lucky you, I have a few in my sleeves. I’ll give you my favorite 5 here, so you can pick and choose what works for you.
#5. Baby Gel Teething Rings
Cold is a great temporary fix for puffy eyes. It won’t only work wonders, it will also soothe the tenderness often associated with tired eyes. Teething rings relieve your baby’s sore gums, they will relieve you tired eyes just the same.
Put two gel-filled baby teething rings in the freezer until they’re ice cold, then lie down and place the rings on your closed eyelids for about 10 minutes. The cold will not only reduce eye puffiness but invigorate you, too.
If you don’t have teething rings available, you can do the same with cold compress.
Inconvenient #1: You need to wait for the teething rings/compress to be cold enough.
Inconvenient #2: You will need to stay in the same position for the entire time of the treatment.
#4: Chilled Tea Bags
If you’re anything like me, you might have some used tea bags hanging on the side of your sink. Perfect! Whether it’s green, black or chamomile tea, these bags can help soothe your puffy and irritated eyes.
Green and black teas contain caffeine which constrict the tiny blood vessels in the skin around your eyes. Caffeinated tea also contains tannins which stimulate your blood circulation.
Chamomile tea doesn’t have caffeine but it does have significant anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. It also revives tired, puffy eyes and reduces redness. (Keep in mind that some people have allergic reactions to chamomile.)
Whatever tea you choose, chill the used bags and apply them on your eyes for 10-15 minutes. They will give you their specific benefits coupled with those of a cold compress.
If you’re more organized than me and you don’t have used tea bags available, simply brew a pot of your favorite tea—you’ll need two used bags. Once your tea is ready, remove the bags and chill them while you drink a cup or two—15 min in the freezer would be perfect. Then, lie down, close your eyes and let the chilled bags rest there while you take a short nap.
Inconvenient #1: Make sure the tea bags are cold enough so you don’t burn your eyes first.
Inconvenient #2: Like with the teething rings, you will need to stay in the same position for the entire time of the treatment.
#3. Sliced Cucumber
This is the most advertised homemade remedy for puffy eyes, and for a good reason! Cucumbers contain antioxidants and flavonoids that help with redness and irritation while their enzymes and astringent properties will make your blood vessels constrict to diminish the eye bags and help tighten the skin. This remedy will also help get rid of wrinkles and dark circles around your eyes. For extra puffy eye relief, use cool cucumber.
“If puffiness is accompanied by irritation, home remedies like cucumbers or chamomile tea can help reduce the inflammation and swelling,” says dermatologist Dr. Gregory Nikolaidis. “Cold cucumbers or tea bags also work in part by the cooling effects of evaporation.”
Open your fridge, take out that chilled cucumber from the vegetable basket, remove the peel—so they are more comfortable—and cut the cucumber into thick roundels. Take two slices and put back the rest of them in the fridge. Now place these cucumber slices on your eyes and relax. Let them be there for the time till they get warmed, then switch for new ones. Repeat for up to 30 minutes. Afterward you’ll feel nice and refreshed.
Inconvenient #1: Like with the previous 2 solutions, you will need to stay in the same position for the entire time of the treatment.
Inconvenient #2: You might not have some cucumber in your fridge 🙁
#2. Gentler Eye Massage
Puffiness is caused by excessive fluids trapped around your eyes. Thus, you can make it go away with a light self-massage that will drain the fluids away from your eyes.
First, close your eyes and lightly press your ring finger under each eye. Then move your finger in arc shape from inside corner of your eye towards outside. Make 10-15 rounds. Be gentle because eyes are very sensitive organs.
Make it a habit to massage your eyes this way every morning before you get out of your bed and you’ll always look stunning.
Tip #1: This technique doesn’t require anything but your fingers. You can do it anywhere, any time.
Tip #2: If you do that light self-massage every day while applying your eye cream, you’ll see amazing results 🙂
#1. Under-Eye Masks
Under-Eye Masks will deliver their beneficial ingredients right where you need them the most. Good quality masks will hang on your skin during the whole treatment duration, without sticking. You can move around or stay still, whatever works for you.
I know that when I need a quick fix, I’m usually in a hurry, so I need to be able to move around while my eyes get their perfect dose of nutrients.
As you can imagine, I’ve tried way too many Under-Eye Masks before I wrote this paper. A lot of them were good, but my favorite is from Skin Research Institute. This company is renowned for the amount of scientific research they do on their ingredients. They also never use harsh-chemicals or animal-testing, which are my major requirements and a gage for gentleness.
Because of my column, I was one of the few to try their new Under-Eye Masks as a preview and they are awesome! They’re called GlamorEye and they’re exactly what I was looking for. They’re made with Medical-Grade Collagen (the one hospitals use to treat burns and wounds), they’re super comfortable and work in less than 20 minutes!
As soon as I put them on, I felt tension and tiredness leaving my body. But at the same time, I was still free to do everything I had to do that day, like preparing lunch for the family, getting ready, even getting started on my make-up! And when I took them off, WOW! I hadn’t look that good in years.
So I made it part of my routine to use GlamorEye once a week. Sometimes, I have to run around with them on (my son usually tells me I look funny), other times, I can just lie down and rest. I love it!
Inconvenient: You need to order them a few days ahead of time, so you have them available when needed (usually takes 2-5 days for you to receive them).
Tip #1: Store them in your fridge so they’re always ready to give you that extra cooling-effect.
Tip #2: Sign up on www.glamoreye.com for the first time customer special. You’ll get a great discount to try them on. If you don’t like them, they’re covered with a 60-day money-back guarantee.
I hope these tips will help you.
Feel free to comment below to give our readers other tips you might have or tell us about your own experience.
And the more you share my articles, the more I’ll be asked to write, so please, share on your social media 🙂
Thank you, guys.
How is it even slightly related? You wanna ask.
Well, the answer is both simple and complicated… You see, when you were conceived, you received genes and traits from both your parents. Some of these genes and traits might not have been obvious in them, but they carried them after their parents passed them on.
That’s why you could be the only one in your family with blond hair, or green eyes… The only one that you know of.
And that’s the trick!
By knowing where you come from, you can understand who you are, and capitalize on your qualities. It might seem like a complicated procedure but the wide variety of Ancestry tests made it easy and affordable to anyone.
CRI Genetics is one of the companies that could help you discover who your ancestors were. Generation after generation, they passed some of their own genes and traits to you, and only you.
They make you unique, even if you don’t see it.
They make you who you are. They also relate you to others on our planet.
You are unique, but you are not alone!
So yes. Everybody in your family tans fast and you burn no matter what… It could be that you have a Viking ancestor, as well as an Ancient Egyptian, and a descendant a North European Dynasty. They’re all in your family tree, far, far way from you.
You don’t even know about them. But, because darker skin and darker eyes are dominant genes, compared to the dormant light-colored skin and eyes, everybody who inherited the Ancient Egyptian genes can tan. But your lighter skin and your freckles are related to that North European Dynasty… How is that for Beauty??
And these aren’t just made up theories. They are things you could discover with a CRI Genetics Ancestry DNA Test. As well as your complete genetic make-up. You could also understand where you come from and find out where you belong.
But, more importantly, savor your difference and uniqueness.
It is your strength. It is your beauty.
Travelling abroad could be a cultural shock… Especially when you travel to Europe!
I’m not talking about landscape, language or even architecture. I am talking about portions. Yep, this article is about what and how much you have on your plate!
For a foreigner visiting the US, or for you coming back from, let’s say France, the average-size plate can seem astronomical. Because it is!
“Research from New York University shows that virtually every food in supermarkets exceeds standard serving sizes. Some “single-serving” foods surveyed were seven times larger than they should be, per standards set by the United States Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration. (Of course, the big serving-size offenders were cookies.)”
It is often really difficult not to finish your plate. I know it is for me, as I was raised with the “finish your plate before leave the table.” When I liked the food, I even often licked my plate clean. So what happen when I have a huge plate of penne arrabiata in front of me? I finish it, even if it makes me feel sick! No wonder why I keep getting larger. And no, I’m not growing up anymore… But I’m definitely growing out! Unfortunately, I’m not alone…
That situation is uncomfortable, being 10-20 lbs heavier than European woman for the same height 🙁
But it is also dangerous for us!
So what can you do?
The easiest way to control the size of your waist line is to control the size of your portion: serve a smaller plate! That way, even if you finish it all, you’ll eat less calories, but you’ll still feel full.
When going out:
- Share your meal, order a half-portion, or order an appetizer as a main meal.
- Take at least half of your meal home.
- Eat off dessert plates or small bowls like ramequins.
“If you currently eat from 10-inch plates, an 8- or 9-inch plate filled similarly may end up feeling and looking like virtually the same amount of food while in reality being a meaningful reduction.”
- Start by filling half your plate with vegetables, then add grains, proteins and carbs… In that order. If your plate’s full, good for you (still talking about a dessert plate here!)
One comprehensive review published in the International Journal of Obesity suggests that prioritizing the addition of low-cal, nutrient-dense foods like veggies to your diet, as opposed to the subtraction of high-calorie foods, is a far easier way to maintain healthy portion sizes for weight loss.
Take a look at this website to find out what you really need: https://www.choosemyplate.gov/foodgroups/proteinfoods_amount.aspx
And what about snacks?
There are tons of snacks that are healthy and still filling while staying low in calories… But you should still keep track of your portions!
- 1 small apple = 78 calories
- 12 raw almonds (unsalted, unroasted) = 82 calories
- 1 large hard-boiled egg = 78 calories
- 1 tbsp peanut butter = 94 calories
- 1 cup of fresh grapes = 62 calories
- 1 single-serve (4 oz) plain & non-fat greek yogurt with cinnamon = 70 calories
And the list goes on. You’ll be surprised by what you can eat to feel satisfied and stay within your calorie-limit!
One more trick…
Often, you feel hungry when you’re actually thirsty. Try to drink a glass of water and wait for 5-10 min. Then, if you’re still hungry, get a small healthy snack. But remember to subtract whatever you ate from your next meal portion…
You could also try a slimming tea. Some of these teas ingredients will make you feel fuller faster. They can also help boost your metabolism so you spend more calories every day.
But, no matter what you decide, do it today and every day!
Hope it helps!
Whether you’re 40, 50 or more, there’s chances that you feel much younger.
Well, the good news is that feeling could help you live longer!
Researchers at University College London have a theory:
“Someone who feels younger is possibly healthier than someone who feels older—they have fewer diseases, they may be more mobile,” says Andrew Steptoe, one of the study authors.
So what could you do to feel even younger?
1. Be Optimistic And Full Of Energy
No need to be 20 and dancing all night long to feel like your life can be full of joy and fun. Find a hobby that you can share with friends or family, go out and discover new places. You will feel energized and positive.
“It’s totally possible to rediscover that zest and optimism you felt when you were younger,” says Caroline Adams Miller, author of Creating Your Best Life. “In fact, recapturing those qualities is essential to living a healthier, happier life in the long run.”
2. Exercise In Moderation
No matter how many birthdays you’ve celebrated, exercise can make you look younger and fitter for your age when done on a regular basis.
A brisk walk under the sun, even if it’s freezing outside, will give you youthful, glowing skin. Your sweat will clear your skin of impurities and dirt. It will also open up your pores, allowing a free flow of air. Yoga and Tai Chi Chuan could add to these benefits flexibility and focus, keys to healthy aging.
Roy J. Shephard, a medical researcher at the University of Toronto, found that exercise reduces biological aging by as much as 20 years in people with good genes. Not only exercising would make you feel and look good, it could also helps increase your overall lifespan and keep diseases away.
3. Eat Your Greens
Nutrition plays a major role in how your body ages.
“The latest research shows that a low-glycemic diet high in fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein is the healthiest,” says Dr. Jeffrey Benabio, Physician Director of Healthcare Transformation at Kaiser Permanente Primary Care.
One great example is the Mediterranean diet, rich in plant-based foods, whole grains, nuts, and red wine (in moderation!). It also involves eating fish twice each week and cutting back on salt. Research shows that this type of diet may help you age better by warding off heart attacks, strokes, and premature death, according to Harvard Medical School.
An added bonus: Benabio says that foods rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, such as walnuts, salmon, and flaxseed, help your skin manufacture the essential oils it needs to protect itself and look younger.
4. Surround Yourself With Love
Aging successfully, according to George E. Vaillant, whose book Aging Well describes the decades-long Harvard study, is something like being tickled: it’s best achieved with another person. Whether your social connections are with a spouse, offspring, siblings, bridge partners, and/or fellow hikers, they’re crucial to good health while growing older.
No one is certain exactly how a social network may help you stay healthy, although some research has shown that men and women who live alone tend to eat less well, which could jeopardize their physical and mental well-being. People with social connections also may have stronger disease-fighting immune system.
“Having someone push you to get out and exercise might not make you feel loved in the short run—in fact, it may be quite irritating,” says Tucker. “But it can be very effective in getting people to change their behaviors in positive ways.”
5. Know What Makes You Happy
The pursuit of happiness is as critical as life and liberty. Happiness boosts the immune system and helps tamp down stress. Involvement with activities, people and experiences that bring joy and contentment also boost optimism and positive attitude, both of which are linked to longevity. And pursuing reasonable pleasures helps one live more fully in the moment.
Cultivate what psychologists call an “observing ego.” Pay extra-close attention to your mood for a few days. Jot down what’s happening during times when you feel particularly happy, as well as what circumstances drain you or trigger anxiety.
Who are you with? What are you doing? What are you thinking about? How do you feel physically and why? How can you get more of those good feelings and minimize the less-good ones?
Don’t assume you know already; you risk falling back on clichés. Learn your personal triggers so you can fully understand how to find happiness and stay happy.
6. Shake Things Up
The brain loves novelty. Although different types of mental skills change with age, the brain never loses the ability to grow. And trying or learning new things builds new neural connections all through life.
Maximize brain fitness and the body will follow in kind. Staying receptive to new ideas also fuels curiosity, open-mindedness, and creativity—traits linked to healthier aging.
Consciously pull out of familiar ruts.
- Listen to some music that became popular after your 20s and 30s, even if you don’t think you’ll enjoy it.
- Keep looking (and more important, feeling) contemporary by visiting a cosmetics counter for advice on fresher makeup.
- Try shopping with someone in their 20s or 30s to experiment with new looks in clothing or glasses.
- Travel to a new locale or to try a new experience.
7. Get Your Vitamins & Ailments
A variety of vitamins and antioxidants could help improve the health and quality of your skin, hair and nails, as well as your joints, lungs, heart…
Research has found that vitamins C and E, as well as selenium, can help protect you against sun damage. They may reverse some of the discoloration and wrinkles associated with aging as well. The saponins and other organic compounds found in Gotu Kola stimulate your skin healing process, reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles and other blemishes.
The plant also has chemicals known as triterpenoids, which address underlying issues causing hair loss or thinning hair, ranging from stress reduction to actual stimulation of hair growth. It was shown to maintain connective tissue and strengthen weakened veins.
It was proven that almost every cell in your body—including your eyes, brain, heart and kidney—can benefit from astaxanthin.
Recent laboratory studies show that astaxanthin can even increase life span! Their conclusion: astaxanthin shows “demonstrable promise for slowing age-related functional decline.”
Of course, it could feel overwhelming to look for these vitamins—and more—in your diet only. That’s why the health industry develops dietary supplements. Take a look at CRI Naturals or the natural beauty supplement RenewGlow to find the perfect vitamin/micronutrients formula for your needs.
These are only a few tips to live a healthier, happier and longer life.
I’d be happy to know what you think and what makes you be happy and healthy.
The more we share, the better we’ll all feel.
No matter where you go, no matter where you shop, you’ve seen some kind of Shea Butter. You’ve certainly heard it called “the best of what nature has to offer” but you don’t really know why. Is it just a marketing gimming? Could one simple product offer that many benefits? What actually is Shea Butter?
Shea Butter, Where Do You Come From?
Sometimes referred to as “women’s gold” in Africa—because so many women are employed in its production—shea butter is a cream-colored fatty substance made from the nuts of Karite trees—also called trees of life. Not cultivated, these trees grow only in the wild Sub-Saharan Africa. They can take up to 50 years to mature and live up to 300 years!
Shea Butter’s skin care and healing properties were first harnessed thousands of years ago, in Ancient Egypt. Accounts from as early as Cleopatra’s Egypt speak of caravans bearing clay jars of valuable shea butter for cosmetic use.
7 Health And Beauty Benefits Of Shea Butter
While Africans have known for thousands of years, Western countries are just beginning to recognize the considerable health and beauty benefits of shea butter. Here are only a few of them:
The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in Shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for skin. It is often used to help protect the skin’s natural oils and it is the perfect remedy for winter skin. A drop or two in your bath will feel like an instant moisture injection.
“I lather my entire body, including my scalp, from head to toe with raw African shea butter. It’s a routine that I’ve been doing for at least 15 years. I often tell people I have a shea-butter robe J I did it my entire pregnancy. My mother is worked up [with stretch marks] and I’m her only child. I was worried because it’s hereditary. But I have no stretch marks. It’s amazing.” Amber Rose
2) Skin Protection
It contains cinnamic acid, a chemical that blocks some ultraviolet rays from the sun. When the pure butter is applied to the hands or face, it takes a while to soak in so it provides a barrier against irritation from wind, cold, and irritation from friction and harsh soaps and detergents.
“I started using African shea butter oil for the winter time because it’s good for windburn and super dry skin. My cheeks have started to get red and discolored in the cold, and it seems to be working.” Lindsay Walsh
3) Skin Soothing
Shea butter aids in the skin’s natural collagen production and contains oleic, stearic, palmitic and linolenic acids that protect and nourish the skin to prevent drying. With long term use, many people report skin softening and strengthening as well as wrinkle reduction.
Karite butter could also heal your skin. Its high fat content makes it an effective and soothing salve for minor cuts and burns—like surn burns or razor cuts—, and it is very effective in treating chapped lips, feet, and hands.
4) Hair Care
Shea oil is rich in stearic and oleic fatty acids. It doesn’t saponify in the soap-making process, which leaves the oils free to moisturize and protect skin and hair. That’s why it is used in shampoos to repair damaged hair and reduce dandruff.
“Shea butter make your curl pattern come out much more defined.” Andrea Thomas
For centuries, Shea Butter has been used as a medicinal ointment to treat joint pain, muscle ache, bruising and swelling.
In 2010, results from a clinical test shows that Shea Butter contains triterpenes compounds that exhibits significant anti-inflammatory and anti-tumour activity. It helps to reduce joint inflammation while improving circulation.
If you have muscle soreness after a strenuous exercise, apply Shea Butter generously over the affected area—it may take a few hours to a full day before you notice the reduction in pain. For good joint health maintenance, apply Shea Butter on your muscles and joint before and after your exercise. This will help reduce muscle fatigue and pain.
6) Nasal Decongestant
For blocked nose or nasal congestion, rub Shea Butter into and around your nose. Apply onto your chest as well. You should feel better pretty fast.
The shea tree nuts are naturally rich in vitamins and minerals. Inside the fruit is a seed rich in the mixture of edible oils and fats—the shea butter—a crucial nutritional resource for millions of rural households.
Raw African Shea butter is very high in antioxidants, vitamin E and essential fatty acids that help keep your cells young and properly lubricated. When ingested instead of applied topically, those same therapeutic compounds go to work inside your body.
So get a little adventurous! Try something outside the box and consider using Shea butter as a super food. Remember to source your Shea consciously and make sure it’s 100% pure, unrefined, raw and organic.
Knowing that something is so pure and clean that you can eat it is great confirmation that putting it on your skin is safe to do as well. Why use chemical laden lotions that can make you sick if swallowed when you can use a pure and clean plant butter that has a history of use as a food? After all, what you put on your skin eventually ends up in your blood.
Congratulations! You are pregnant!!
Whether it’s your first pregnancy or not, you have an idea of what to expect. You know all about the nausea, fatigue and swelling. You might even be experiencing each one of those symptoms already.
So, when people tell you that you have that pregnancy glow, you have a hard time believing them. It’s just BS, right?
Well, not exactly.
“The pregnancy glow is one of the skin changes that is caused by the increase of hormones during pregnancy. If you are experiencing it, count yourself blessed and enjoy it.”
What Is The Pregnancy Glow?
When you are pregnant your body produces 50% more blood, resulting in more blood circulation through your body. This increase in blood circulation causes your face to be brighter.
It’s like your skin is naturally producing a look that many women try to achieve with highlighter and brighteners.
“My partner has told me that I look different, radiant. I was so pleased because I’m tired and grumpy. I must admit my hair is very shiny and my wrinkles (I’m 40 and pregnant for the first
time) don’t look so bad.” Janet
“My hair and my nails are fabulous and everyone says I’m glowing.” Felicity
Hormones And Pregnancy Glow.
Your blood volume increases, and so does your production of the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG). These changes in your physiology work together to create the pregnancy glow. Greater blood volume brings more blood to vessels, resulting in skin that looks slightly flushed and plump. The hormones HCG and progesterone, which cause the skin glands on the face to secrete more oil, also help make skin look smoother and slightly shinier.
“Pregnancy sorted out my acne! I’d had very bad skin for over 15 years (since I was 11). I’d tried EVERYTHING to get rid of it and been to numerous dermatologists. When I became pregnant the spots got worse in the first trimester, then gradually started to fade away. Now my son is 14 months old and my skin has stayed completely clear! You can’t imagine how that feels after all this time.” Tess
Can You Keep The Glow Long After Pregnancy?
When glow-giving pregnancy hormones disappear, your face can suddenly look like you’ve spent a weekend partying.
“Most people experience dull, sallow skin when they have a young baby, due to stress and tiredness,” says Debbie Thomas, Advanced Skincare Therapist.
Introduce exfoliation to your skin care routine. It will remove dead skin cells. You could also replace your morning cleanser with a gentle daily scrub. End your routine by appling a soft moisturizer that will leave your skin perfectly hydrated or look for an eye product containing antioxidants and vitamin C to protect the collagen in your skin.
If you’re breastfeeding, drink at least 64 oz of water per day.

It’s this time of the year again… You’re looking into what to do and where to go this summer.
If you’re covered in snow right now, I bet a beach vacation seems idyllic. But did you know that seawater has multiple health benefits?
Let’s dive in together…
Sea bathing and seawater became fashionable healing treatment in the early XVIIIth Century in Europe. In 175o, Dr Charles Russel recommended Thalassotherapy to heal several diseases. He then founded the first bathing resort in Brighton, England.
But these could be considered old news as Hippocrates was already talking about “thalassotherapy” in 400 B.C.! This word comes from the Greek “thalassa”, meaning water, and “therapia”, meaning to cure. Known also as the father of modern medicine, Hippocrates was the first to use seawater for healing purposes.
For the past couple centuries, multiple scientists studied the healing benefits of seawater, proving that it has nearly all the essential elements. Its major constituents—magnesium, sodium, potassium, and calcium— as well as the living microorganisms present in seawater—producing beneficial antibiotic, antimicrobial and antibacterial substances—get absorbed through your skin, making seawater the perfect natural healer.
Heal Your Skin
- Swimming in the ocean can repair your skin barrier and speed up its healing process.
- Thanks to its huge salt concentration—3.5% sodium chloride—seawater also acts as a natural exfoliation, leaving your skin soft and hydrated.
- And—last but certainly not least—, the constituents of seawater are the perfect natural antiseptics. They will reduce inflammation and heal irritation.
Boost Your Immunity
“The components of seawater, similar to human blood plasma, are easily absorbed and utilized by your body while swimming. Inhaling a sea mist filled with negatively charged ions, or molecules that attach to your lungs also boosts your immune system,” according to naturopathic doctor Connie Hernandez. “In addition, proponents claim that swimming in seawater opens pores in the skin to allow the absorption of sea minerals and the expulsion of disease-causing toxins from the body.”
Seawater has the ability to relieve cold and flu symptoms, as well as to cure bronchitis and sinusitis. Inhaling sodium chloride, or salt from seawater, helps loosen mucus and treat pulmonary problems.
Heal Your Mind
As you now know, seawater has a high concentration in magnesium and has been proven to have calming properties—by stabilizing the serotonin, melatonin and tryptamin levels in your brain—, and therefore reduce stress, relax your muscles and help you sleep.
“Magnesium depresses nerves to relieve nervous irritability for an increased sense of calmness”, according to wellness pioneer and author J.I. Rondale.
But if ever you feel too lazy to swim, no worries. Pick up your towel and go lie down on the beach for a while—after a full body massage with a high IPF sunscreen of course. The heat of the sun will boost your endocrine system—the natural chemicals in our body designed to make you feel relaxed and less stressed effortlessly.
Vacation is relaxing by definition. But, when you think of it, wouldn’t it be perfect it could cure some of your health issues at the same time? You’d come back well rested, tanned and healthy. Ready for the marathon of life. And, if you wanna dive even deeper into healing your body and your mind, you could try swimming with dolphins…
Long story short, my husband’s been working longer hours for the past few years, when I’m home with our kids every night, helping with the homework, fixing them dinner,… The evening routine is a lot like running a marathon when you have teens. I’m sure you can relate…
Anyway, I felt that my hubby and I had been missing each other so, on a day off, I decided to surprise him at work with a homemade lunch. I cooked all morning preparing his favorite recipe –his mom’s acclaimed beef stew. While it was on the stove, I chose my clothes and groomed myself a little bit more than any other day –I usually don’t wear make-up but it was a special day for us. I just realized I forgot to tell you it was our 20th anniversary!
Once I was all cleaned up, I took my ready-to-eat beef stew and left for his office, feeling pretty and happy.
When I arrived there, he was out for a lunch meeting I didn’t know about. I was disappointed for sure, but that’s what happens with surprises, right? So I decided to take a look around, I hadn’t been there in so long I had forgotten about the surroundings. Or the people.
And that’s when it hit me.
Everybody there was younger and prettier than me! My husband was working every day with models, young and beautiful, while I was waiting for him at home, overwhelmed, aging and alone. No wonder he was coming home increasingly late.
I had to do something about it if I wanted to save my marriage!
That’s why I started looking for the best anti-aging treatment I could find. I wasn’t ready for surgery so I explored the best non-invasive alternatives. And I found Cryotin.
What is Cryotin?
Cryotin is a Full Spectrum Eye Cream. Doesn’t tell you much more, does it?
Well, let’s dig deeper…
You may already know that the skin around your eyelids –called periorbital skin– is about 0.5 mm thick compared to being around 2 mm thick on the rest of your body. As we get older, we lose some of the fat and collagen around our eyes. This loss, combined with the thinning of our skin, magnifies the dark eye circles and lays the perfect ground for crow’s feet to appear.
After years of research and clinical trials, Skin Research Institute and its skin specialists discovered that the skin cell aging could be dramatically slowed down –maybe even reversed– by boosting our natural skin regeneration. Following that theory, they concluded that improving collagen and elastin chains could revert back to young and healthy skin.
A team of dedicated scientists traveled the world to find the perfect ingredients that, once combined, would harmonize to fight the appearance of wrinkles and dark eye circles, towards repairing your skin and helping it stay fresh and young.
With a combination of rare ingredients, antioxidants and deep moisturizers, Cryotin is the perfect choice for anyone —women and men— who would want to get a younger and brighter gaze without invasive treatment.
This product is infused with a ton of benefits. To name a few, the Acetyle Tetrapeptide-5 will fight puffy eye bags, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) will improve your skin barrier function,Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) will revitalize and repair your skin and Pseudoalteromonas Ferment Extract (Antarcticine) will freeze aging in its tracks.
I invite you to take a look at cryotin.com/formula.html for a fuller understanding of the ingredients and their actions.
- Combines the best ingredients to fight the appearance of wrinkles and dark eye circles –Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Antarcticine, etc–, all working in harmony to repair your skin and help it stay fresh and young.
- Scientific Formula developed in American labs, following the FDA guidelines —every step of the development process is done on the US ground, with non-GMO ingredients. Cryotin is then tested by 3rd-party labs, whose job is to find its failures, if any. So when SRI tells you they use quality products, they do use quality products. And scientists. And everything else. And no harsh chemicals ever. They’re also renowned to be cruelty-free —which was really important to me.
- 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, meaning that they would give you your money back if you were not completely satisfied. Just by curiosity, I called to see if it was true. They didn’t ask any questions, just told me the return process. I sent my empty bottles back after 55 days and, a week or so later, I got the reimbursement, minus postage —which was free because I had bought 2 bottles.
I started using Cryotin to keep my husband, thinking he was on his way out. I discovered a product so good that I now feel pretty and attractive again, no matter what my husband thinks. And it works wonder because he started coming back home earlier. We’ve had family dinners almost every evening last week, sharing our days, smiling and laughing. Because I am more confident, I try less, and I receive more.
I am aware that an eye cream –even if it’s Cryotin, Full Spectrum Eye Cream—doesn’t do miracles and doesn’t save marriages. Being confident and feeling pretty on the other hand…
Cryotin was the best purchase I did in years. I just wished they did auto-renewal, so I would receive it every month without a glitch. Thinking ahead of time is a small price to pay for all the benefits you will gain, though.
I love Cryotin and I’m pretty sure you’ll love it, too.
